       西妮在经历了前一集的噩梦之后选择在郊区隐居，她的职业是女性心理辅导员，在家中通过电台与遇到困扰比如家庭暴力的女性沟通。影片开始，此前一直想出名的卡登此时已经是好莱坞小有名气的明星，在接到能模仿女性声音的杀手的来电后，他和他的女友一起被杀害。好莱坞的一位年轻导演想要拍上一部里西妮身上发生的故事，卡登正是他选定的主演之一……开拍前又有一位女演员在下班后的片场被杀害了，不久西妮也接到了杀手伪装成她已逝母亲的声音打来的电话，故事就此展开。在得知前面几个人被杀的消息后，西妮回到了洛杉矶，与德威和盖尔再次碰头，同时围绕着他们的血腥杀戮也再度展开……
