◎简　　介

　　华氏企业下属的化工厂所产废料污染了附近的渔场，渔场负责人阿娴（叶德娴 饰）向法庭申请禁止该厂继续生产的禁令。为将麻烦解除，华氏企业请来律师阿龙（成龙 饰）负责处理此案，并授权他收购渔场。阿龙找来好友黄飞鸿（洪金宝 饰）和阿彪（元彪 饰）帮忙，此二君一个武艺高强，一个虽身手敏捷但头脑不大灵光。
　　阿彪在渔场安下窃听装置，黄飞鸿则想方设法接近阿娴，力劝她卖掉渔场，而阿娴也找来表妹水质专家美玲（杨宝玲 饰）帮忙。阿龙初见美玲，便被对方深深吸引，不久两人陷入热恋中，黄飞鸿与阿娴的感情也日渐浓烈。阿彪不小心泄露了三人的本来意图，令阿娴与美玲失望过后分别与阿龙和黄飞鸿绝交。此事也促使阿龙一伙发现工厂相瞒的秘密。
　　黄飞鸿找到阿娴表白自己心迹，并发誓帮阿娴找出工厂的秘密，他到化工厂窥探，发现了工厂制毒的秘密，但旋即身份败露，失手被擒。此时阿龙也已向美玲解释清楚，得知此消息后也赶到化工厂，三人一起与一帮毒贩展开最后决战 ······

◎幕后制作

　　本片是由成龙、洪金宝、元彪三名师兄弟合演的动作喜剧。本片最大特色是采用很多爱情喜剧的泡妞情节来冲淡成龙电影一贯的阳刚性，但也因而会让观众觉得本片有点生涩。但影片仍旧维持了成龙八十年代影片一贯的高水准，打斗精彩，剧情幽默，这一切因素已经足以令观众心甘情愿走进影院观赏。影片一经推出，就坐稳了排头兵的金交椅，收画时直收三千万，成为该年票房总排行的亚军电影。成家班更因本片获得了香港电影金像奖最佳动作设计的提名。
