◎简　　介

　　美国某个小镇，貌不惊人的小老头尤金·范·温格特（斯科特·格林 Scott Glenn 饰）正坐在餐厅里喝着咖啡，这时他敏锐地发现一个年轻人正在盯着他。弗兰西斯试图悄然离去，谁知竟在外面遭到青年的攻击。青年自称约翰（克里斯·科伊 Chris Coy 饰），他指出弗兰西斯就是20年前涉嫌杀害17名年轻女性、最终因证据不足而无罪释放的连环杀人犯弗兰西斯·艾伦·维瑟。约翰声称是弗兰西斯的狂热粉丝，希望能拜入老头门下学习杀人技巧。疯狂的青年不惜杀害一名年轻女性作为自己的应聘证书，而看在这份不输于自己的狂热份上，弗兰西斯竟然答应将约翰纳入门下。
