◎简 介
歌舞伎家庭出身的吉野美智代（谷ナオミ 饰）自由生活在传统、古朴的环境氛围之中，她早年分外迷恋《京鹿子娘道成寺》的主角尾形珠三郎（花柳幻舟 饰）。后来她成为江户千代之人形师的续弦，婚后仅仅半年，丈夫便一命归西。美智代自此守身如玉，独自抚养继女宇子（北川たか子 饰），并且继承了丈夫人形制作的手艺。十多年过去，宇子已经出落成漂亮的大姑娘，她和继母亲密无间，没有任何隔阂。
