◎简 介
贝奇（格蕾丝·富尔顿 Grace Fulton 饰）和丹（梅森·古丁 Mason Gooding 饰）是一对非常恩爱的情侣，两人都爱好攀岩，常常结伴挑战世界各地的高峰，和他们一起的，还有个性古灵精怪，同样爱好冒险的亨特（维吉尼亚·加德纳 Virginia Gardner 饰）。然而，在一次攀岩中，丹因为意外失手坠崖，不幸丧生，这场灾难给贝奇的内心带来了巨大的创伤，导致她再也无法攀岩了。
一晃眼很久过去，贝奇依然沉浸在失去恋人的痛苦之中，疏远了周围的所有人。在这个节骨眼上，亨特找到了贝奇，邀请她去攀登一座高达610米的电视塔，出于对丹的怀念和对自己的挑战，贝奇最终答应了亨特的邀请，谁知道这成为了一场噩梦的开始。
◎幕后制作
为了模拟片中2000英尺高（约610公尺）的废弃电视塔，剧组特地选在洛杉矶附近的山顶搭建了一座高约60尺（约20公尺高）的高塔与平台作为拍摄场景使用，全片更有多达1,000个特效镜头，只为了在大银幕上完美呈现出最真实的视觉效果。
导演表示，片中两名演员必须长时间待在60尺高的平台上玩命拍摄，“膀胱的大小决定我们拍摄的进度，只要有人想上厕所我们就得暂停拍摄。”导演打趣地表示，“由于没有梯子，让两名演员上下的过程非常困难，必须出动吊车来让移动她们，这我和过去参与的拍摄十分不同，是一次非常奇特的拍摄经验！”。
